Job Title: Senior Developer

Reporting to: IT Director

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday

Our mission is to change people's lives by delivering excellent optometry and audiology services in the homes of people who can't get to the high street unaided.

Opportunity

We are looking for a talented IT Senior Developer to join our IT Team. The Developer will be working alongside our other developers to create software solutions for both our internal and external systems. This will be a combination of improving our existing systems and creating new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse system requirements and prioritize tasks, take ownership of the key technical features required.
  • To evaluate and establish timescale for requirements and deliver changes on time.
  • Write clean, testable code using C# and .NET programming languages
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture
  • Test and debug various .NET applications
  • Review and refactor code
  • Deploy fully functional applications
  • Upgrade existing programs
  • Support other developers work
  • Document development and operational procedures
  • To change and create the database structure which is currently in an SQL Server environment.
