Optical Dispenser

Duncan & Todd Group is one of the leading optical and hearing care providers based in Scotland. In operation for over 40 years, our brands include: Duncan and Todd, 2020, Douglas Dickie, JM Macdonald, James Hughes, Browns, IC Andrew, and Smart Employee Eyecare.

We are currently recruiting for an Optical Dispenser to join our team in Montrose on a fixed term basis for approx. 12 months.

The position is 35 hours per week to be worked over 5 days as follows:

4 days from Monday - Friday working 09:00 to 17:45 (7.75 hours)
+ Saturdays working 09:00 to 13:00 (4 hours)

The role comes with a wide range of responsibilities including the following:

• Dispensing
• Stock Control/replacement
• Contact Lens Teaching
• Frame adjustments
• Performing clinical screening test
• Minor admin work
• Excellent customer service
• Good optical knowledge and experience
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
