An exciting opportunity has become available for an Optical Practice Manager in the Southwest London Central area, to join a well-established, small group, that now, due to a long-serving employee leaving the field, is seeking a customer-driven personality.

They have several practices, both in and outside Greater London, all with an outstanding reputation for designer products, modern high-end looking practices, and an outstanding first-class patient focussed service that is guaranteed in each one of their practices.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

Your role will be to help lead a small but experienced team from the front.
You will be on the shop floor making sales and coaching your teams and ensuring customer service standards are maintained.
You will occasionally be involved in all-optical duties such as dispensing but primarily be offering advice, managing the day-to-day, troubleshooting, rota management, KPIs, and P&L.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

Ideally, you will have a strong level of experience and knowledge in both optics and management.
This role is full-time, working 5-days, with present working hours are, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, (contracted 8.45am – 5.30pm), with ad hoc Saturdays in future and closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.

You must have over 2 years of experience as a manager and be comfortable managing a small team, you will have full autonomy in the role as the Director is constantly working across his portfolio.
You will have a confident and upbeat personality with a strong people and management skillset along with a drive to succeed.
You will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

A competitive package is on offer of up to £30,000+ (depending on experience)
” 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays (Bank Holidays are closed)
” Sociable hours with occasional Saturdays & no Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights
