A very exciting opportunity has become available for an Optical Assistant on a full time, permanent basis with an independent chain of opticians.

Ranging from £10.50 to £12.50 per hour
9-5:30 in the week and 9-4 on Saturdays
Must be a driver and have a car as will occasionally cover other local practices
Free Parking
1 Saturday off per month

This independent high street opticians, who have a fantastic reputation for their high quality service, are looking to add to their team by recruiting an Optical Assistant to join their practice in the Milton Keynes area.

An enthusiastic and committed individual is required join this successful practice. Located in an excellent location, this attractive practice is equipped to the highest standard and boasts a good support team.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The ideal candidate will have had experience as an Optical Assistant, but the amount of experience is not important. What is important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store whether that be dispensing, stock taking, answering calls or dealing with problems.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant.

At least 2 years of experience as an Optical Assistant ideally within a busy practice.
Must be driver and have a car as will occasionally cover other local practices
The ability to dispense to all levels.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £24,000 is on offer.
9-5:30 in the week and 9-4 on Saturdays
Free parking
1 Saturday off per month
You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment, potential opportunity prospects as are looking to develop their staff and with this role are looking to put on to the DO course.
