A family run independent Opticians based in Cheltenham are looking for a Dispensing Optician to join the team, working full or part time.
They are known for providing technologically advanced eyecare with high quality products, and a friendly professional team.
Dispensing Optician - Role
- Modern independent practice
- Mid to high end
- Focus on quality and customer service
- Access to high quality frames and lenses - Tom Davies, Silhouette, ProDesign
- Advanced Essilor dispensing equipment
- Optix computer system
- Team of 8 people
- Helping to mentor a Student DO
- Dealing with complex patient queries
- Encouraged to develop at every opportunity
- Working 3, 4 or 5 days a week including Saturdays - 9am to 5pm
- Some flexibility on Saturdays
- Salary between £22,000 to £30,000 DOE, Pro rata
- Professional fees paid
Dispensing Optician - Requirements
- Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Would suit someone newly qualified
- Passionate about eyewear and styling
- Flair for fashion
- Pulse on the market
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Team player
- Attention to detail
