An exciting opportunity for an experienced Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant has become available at a family run independent opticians in Southampton.

Patient care is at the forefront of everything they do, meaning relaxed testing times, allowing you to develop successful relationships with everyone you see.

Working alongside a small but highly experienced and personable team, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established independent optometry practice who work to the highest standards of patient care.

The practice is modern and well-equipped, offering an excellent work environment and a superb range of frames and lenses to dispense with great variety in your day-to-day work.

Key Duties

• To work Monday-Friday 9-5, and then start Saturdays before the end of the year with a day off in the week with no evening work
• Well-established practice with a good reputation in the area and a loyal patient base Customer service and attention is always placed of paramount importance
• Standard eye examinations last 45 minutes or longer with a range of additional clinical services also offered

Package and Benefits

• Salary up to 25,000 plus a bonus scheme based on targets
• No evening work or Sundays
• Early finish on a Saturday
• Four weeks holiday
• Joining a successful friendly independent practice

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC qualified Dispensing Optician or experienced Optical Assistant
• Working at least 4 days a week
• Posses the right to work in the UK
