Qualified Dispensing Optician Position

I am recruiting for a Qualified Dispensing Optician for a role with a very well-established independent group practice in the Southwest London area. This is a permanent full-time position working 5 days, Monday-Friday
9.00am – 5:30pm & Saturday 9.00am – 4:00pm with a 36.5 hrs working week.

This busy family-run business has an excellent reputation built up over the years.
They have a wide range of high-end and luxury products and offer personal and professional service. They offer specialist eye checks including Blepharitis, Cataracts, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, and Flashes & Floaters & Glaucoma.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

In this role, your time will be split between managing the day-to-day operation of the practice as well as dispensing spectacles and the manage the admin side.
The priority is to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Because you are a member of the senior team in practice you will naturally have some level of responsibility, such as mentoring, guidance, recruitment, and training.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

This role would suit someone who has experience in a similar environment, although the client is open to all applicants and backgrounds.
You will have your GOC registration in place with no restrictions.

You will be hardworking and dependable with a friendly and professional personality that customers warm to, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

Salary scale based on 36.5 hours from £28,000 to £33,000 dependent on years of experience.
