Through continued investment in the latest equipment, qualified team members and close ties with local hospitals – Tyrrells & Embery Optometry has developed a reputation for being one of the leading Opticians in Lancashire.

With more growth on the horizon, the practice is now recruiting for a part-time Optometrist to join the team.

What’s the Opportunity

This is an amazing opportunity to become a part of a truly professional and highly clinical team; a team that has over 80 years of experience between them. A fully qualified Dispensing Optician will also be working alongside you.

You’ll be working with some of the best equipment, including:

• Topcon OCT
• Nidek Phoropter
• Humphrey Visual Fields
• Choice of tonometers

The practice is also open to flexible working hours. This makes this a brilliant chance to get back your work/life balance.

Ideally, you’ll be comfortable providing CUES / MECS enhanced services – though this isn’t essential and full training can be provided.

Being a destination practice for fashion enthusiasts, we work with some of the best eye wear designers including Tom Ford, Ray Ban and Tomato kids to name a few.

Tyrrells & Embery is opposite Ainsworth Jewellers in Blackburn town centre, just 5 minutes from the local bus and train stations. The practice also has free on-site parking at the rear.
