A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time, permanent basis with an independent chain of opticians.

Ranging from £25,000 to £30,000
9-5:30 in the week and 9-4 on Saturdays
Must be driver and have a car as will occasionally cover other local practices
Free parking
1 Saturday off per month

This independent high street opticians, who have a fantastic reputation for their high quality service, are looking to add to their team by recruiting a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their practice in the Northampton/ Milton Keynes area.

An enthusiastic and committed individual is required join this successful practice. Located in an excellent location, this attractive practice is equipped to the highest standard and boasts a good support team.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options.
Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
You will be responsible for dealing with each and every patient to the best of your ability

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

At least 1 year of experience post qualification as an Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice.
GOC registered and up to date with all CET points
Must be driver and have a car as will occasionally cover other local practices
The ability to dispense to all levels.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £30,000 is on offer.
9-5:30 in the week and 9-4 on Saturdays
Free parking
1 Saturday off per month
You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment, potential opportunity prospects as are looking to develop their staff and with this role are looking to put on to the DO course.
