Salary – £25,000 – £35,000 Dependent on experience

The Role:

We are expanding our team and are looking to recruit Medical Field Service Engineers across the UK. You will be responsible for the calibration, repair and service of a wide range of equipment used by our clinicians.  Field Service Engineers work as part of a multi-disciplinary maintenance team and are responsible for the maintenance, service, and installation of ophthalmic and healthcare equipment as well as providing remote technical guidance to colleagues throughout the business.

The ideal candidate will have both a strong and practical service engineering background within the optical industry.

Your Background:

Suitable candidates will have previous field service engineer experience within the optical industry and possess a qualification in electronics, mechanical engineering or equivalent to a minimum of ONC level.

You will be expected to work on your own initiative, in a professional and ethical manner and be willing to go the extra mile to satisfy our customers.

This post will require a flexible approach to working hours and time may be spent away from home. In addition to a significant amount of travel within the UK, some overseas work may be involved. A full UK Driving Licence is required.
