My client is one of the leading Opticians in the UK, with a presence in nearly every town and city in the country. They have a fantastic reputation for clinical excellence, and customer service, and this practice in Fleet now have a requirement for a full time Optometrist to join one of their practice.

Salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000
25-minute clinics with all pre-screening completed by support staff
Equipment – Phoropters or Trial frames, OCT etc.
Support – Accompanied by 4 other Optometrists, 3x Dispensing Opticians and experienced Optical Assistants that have all been in store for several years.
Large focus on staff happiness and customer service
Alternate weekends – working one on, one-off

The right person for this position will be a highly professional and clinical person with a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service. In this role you will be very well supported a number of other Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and experienced optical staff as well as owners that care about their staff.
There is fantastic equipment on offer such as OCT and either phoropters or trial frames as well as plenty of clinical development on offer.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Performing eyes tests to 25-minute appointments with all your pre-screening done for you.
Retinal imaging
Adhering to all GOC guidelines
Building excellent patient reports
Contact Lens Fittings

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered
Ideally, MECS accredited
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

For your efforts, a competitive package is on offer up to £65,000 and additional benefits.
