A very exciting opportunity has become available for an Optometrist on a full-time, permanent basis with an independent optician in Bognor Regis.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to have the option to become a partner/ shareholder in an already established business.

They are looking to redevelop the business, having invested in all new equipment, refurb of the test room and future plans to continue refurbishing across the whole practice. They are looking for someone to take the lead in helping develop the optical side of the business, consider new business opportunities and have full autonomy to run clinics as they would like. You will also have the opportunity to help the director develop new clinics such as dry eye, contact lens etc

” Up to £60,000
” Option to become a partner and/or shareholder within the business
” New Equipment – All new Essilor test equipment, slit lamp, phoropter etc.,
” Independent opticians with a relaxed environment
” Sociable hours – 9am to 5pm, no bank holidays or Sundays
” Flexibility on Saturday
” 40-minute test time

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Optometrist – ideally, 3 years qualified.
What’s important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients as pride themselves on excellent customer care.

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

For your efforts a competitive package is on offer;
” Up to £60,000 basic
” 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays (Bank Holidays are closed)
” Sociable hours with no Sundays or late nights
” Free parking
” Working 9:00-5:00 Monday to Saturday – 37.5 hours to include Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank holidays
