Independent Optometrist Job, Wincanton J165780

A new part-time vacancy has become available with a reputable and established independent Opticians who are looking for an Optometrist to cover 2/3 locations within 15 minutes of Wincanton.

You will work 1/2 days in each practice, joining an independent Opticians who are well-renowned and known as an excellent practice for both patients and staff alike.

They place an emphasis on utilising the latest technology to provide a premium eye care service to their patients including OCT, while also specialising in wider areas including contact lenses, however this is not essential for you to take up.

There is an experienced and friendly team already in place, where you will be working a mixture of sole/double clinics with support from qualified Dispensing Opticians.

The key focus is to provide an excellent service to every single patient where everyone is treated on a bespoke basis, offering a fresh approach to Optics compared to the grind of the multiples.

Key Duties

• Part-time role working 3 days a week
• General working hours of 9am-5:30pm
• Covering a couple of practice locations within 15 minutes of Wincanton
• 40 minute testing time
• Highly established practice with a loyal patient base
• Clinically focussed with emphasis placed on patient care over sales
• Low pressure environment with a family feel dynamic
• Supported by an experienced team including Dispensing Opticians
• Equipped with state of the art technology including OCT
