Our long established family based practices, The Cotler Practice and Arthur Leach Opticians, are both well respected in the local community. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and patient orientated care.

Both practices see a variety of patients who have long standing relationships with us and expect a high level of customer care.

This role will be based across both Doncaster practices. The days you work in both practices will vary week to week but you will have a rota 4 weeks in advance to allow ample planning. The role requires the successful candidate to work Monday – Saturday with a day off in the week – your day off will vary week to week.

Monday – Friday Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (30 minute lunch)

Saturday Hours: 08:30 – 16:00 (30 minute lunch)

Closed: Sundays and Bank Holidays

What’s the Opportunity

As an Optical Assistant/ Receptionist, you will be working with high-end frames and equipment, a wide variety of frame brands and will work to create an outstanding patient experience from start to finish.

Every day will be different and each team member works the whole practice. You may be answering the phone, making appointments, dispensing frames or making a cup of tea for a patient. There really are no 2 days alike which adds to the variety of the position.

We stock a range of spectacle frames from entry level to designer. Amongst some of the names you will be working with are:
