Are you an experienced Supervisor or Senior Optical Assistant looking for a change in pace and prospects for the future?

I am currently working with established and successful opticians who are now looking for a Supervisor. You will be overlooking a team of 5, who all pull together to achieve success.
Your role, primarily, is to support the practice management with training and driving sales as well as maintaining the quality of service.

This is a very good opportunity for an established Supervisor or an experienced Optical Assistant of a small practice looking to develop their optical career and take on a more senior role in a larger practice. As well as supporting the team, you will also be doing dispensing and leading by example.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor

The role will entail supervising and leading a team on the shop floor you will also be dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. This person is also required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options.
Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and help with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Supervisor

As a Supervisor within this practice, you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general troubleshooting. As a member of the store’s team, you will have a valued input with best practices and clinical compliance.

Compensation for the Supervisor

For your efforts, a competitive salary package dependant on your experience is on offer up to £25,000, along with a strong bonus scheme and additional benefits plus 28 days holiday.
