Optical Assistant

The ideal candidate will be an Optical Assistant with a minimum of twelve months of experience.
You will need to be a strong team player, a real ‘people person, and pride yourself in your punctuality and professionalism.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and help with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

At least one year of experience as an Optical Assistant ideally within a customer focussed practice.
A friendly and personable demeanor and strong personal work ethic.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

In return, the company can offer a fantastic working environment with an excellent level of support from a huge enthusiastic team.
Basic salary is dependent upon experience and personality but can be up to £24k pro-rata for the right person.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am-5:30 pm & Saturday 9 am-4:30 pm, with the flexibility of alternate Saturday working
