A thriving and reputable Independent Opticians in Gloucester are looking for an Optometrist to join their experienced team in a patient focussed practice working to 40 minute testing times.

The practice is clinically leading and equipped with the latest technology including Optomap and OCT to ensure they are providing the best clinical care to every single patient.

Their testing times are 40 minutes as standard with your pre-screening completed ahead of the test, giving you extended time with every patient to provide the best outcome for their eyesight.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an Optometrist to join a phenomenal independent practice based in Gloucester with easy commutable access including parking on-site.

They offer a wide spectrum of specialist clinics including MECS, Glaucoma and Cataracts, and can run specialist clinics/services for any Optometrists with further qualifications who want to utilise them fully.

With extended testing times, excellent equipment and an experienced team to support, this is an excellent role any Optometrist considering a change including newly-qualified professionals looking to switch away from the multiple grind.

Key Duties

• Full or part-time role with practice open from Monday-Saturday
• General working hours of 9am-5:30pm
• Extended 40 minute testing time with pre-screening completed for you
• Prestigious Independent with highly established patients allowing a less sales driven, pressure free environment
• Clinical practice running specialist services including MECS &
• Glaucoma clinics, however this is not essential for your role if you'd rather focus on eye tests
• Room to develop your own specialist services in your chosen speciality
• Equipped with state of the art technology including Optomap, OCT and paperless records amongst more
• Working closely alongside the owner who is a fully qualified
• Optometrist and gets hands on with the business
• Truly believe in running an opticians that builds close relationships with patients and staff to achieve a more long term goal
• Supported by an experienced team including Dispensing Opticians
