I am recruiting for a Qualified Dispensing Optician for a role with a very well-established independent practice in the Harrow area. This is a permanent full-time position working 5 days between Mon-Sat with a day off in the week.
This busy family-run business has an excellent reputation built up over the years. They have a wide range of high-end and luxury products and offer personal and professional service. The store is well equipped and always kept immaculately clean and tidy.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

In this role, you will be expected to dispense spectacles to all levels, conduct pre-screening tests, and undertake contact lens teaches. As well as these clinical duties a certain amount of reception and admin work will be involved within the position to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Because you are a member of the senior team in practice you will naturally have some level of responsibility, such as mentoring, guidance, and training.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The ideal candidate for this position will be hardworking and dependable. You will have a friendly and professional personality that customers warm to, as well as strong interpersonal skills. You will also have a strong personal skill set and will be looking to increase your optical knowledge.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

On offer to the right person is a competitive salary of up to £30,000 basic plus GOC fees paid and 28 days holiday.
