This well-established company are looking for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician who are able to dispense to all levels. You will be joining a large successful practice on the high street in Brighton where you will be well supported by a big team who all work together.

Working within this multi-level, modern equipped store (that has just had a new re-fit in Dec 2021) and well-supported team, you will be able to demonstrate first and foremost excellent customer service as well as a high level of sales ability.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The role will primarily involve you being a senior member of the team on the shop floor in the dispensing team you will also be conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
This person is also required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options.
Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

” You must be GOC registered and up to date with CET points
” Be able to provide excellent service to each and every patient
” Be driven and want to develop within your role
” Be able to work individually and as part of a team
” Your role will be to work as one of the lead dispensers within the practice
” As a senior member of the team you will help junior members of the team and help them to stay up to date with the latest optical developments
” You will handle the majority of children’s and complex dispensing and you will use your expertise and clinical experience to trouble shoot and deal with any issues as they arise

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your efforts a competitive salary package dependant on your experience is on offer up to £28k, along with a strong bonus scheme (approx £2k) and additional benefits.
