This practice in in the heart of the city is now looking for an experienced Optical Manager, either (Qualified or non-qualified) to motivate and lead a very well organised team.

TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS OPTICAL MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE.

Your role will be split between dispensing and managing a team of experienced optical assistants and a couple of resident Optometrists. You’ll ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to do a truly great job. Leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most – delivering the highest standards of professionalism and being an integral part of this growing business.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

The combined role will mean you’re accountable for the KPI’s and driving the business forward. You will coach and train colleagues, but you’ll be heavily involved in the commercial development too in conjunction with the owners, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

You will be an influencer with a friendly and personable demeanor and a strong personal work ethic, with a customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike. It’s essential you have previous managerial experience and ideally have a proven track record of growing a practice year on year.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

My client has a more than competitive rewards and benefits package around with a salary of up to £32,000 with an outstanding target driven bonus scheme, specifically tailored to the management position, with OTE of £12,000 per annum, plus 33 days holiday and your birthday off with pay!
