Position: Optometrist

Salary: Competitive package + bonus (depending on experience)+ Joining bonus up to 10K(terms apply)
Working hours: Full or part time
Experience level: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist

Due to continued growth in our two practices we are looking for a motivated and passionate Optometrist to join our talented team in Cambridge Specsavers.

The Role
Essentially, we want our Optometrists to deliver excellent eye care and advice that meets the individual needs of our patients. To help them achieve this our practices are equipped with the latest equipment, including an OCT, so that they can provide the very best clinical care. Our wider teams include DOs and CLOs so that the Optometrists can focus on doing what they do best.

Whether thats improving your clinical knowledge and skills by undertaking higher qualifications such as IP or helping you to become the director of your own Specsavers store one day.

Cambridge has two large Specsavers stores situated just a leisurely 10min walk apart in the city centre. Each hosts 4-5 clinics and a dedicated CL clinic everyday and as you would expect they have all the latest equipment including phoropters and OCT. The patient base is very diverse and we participate in all the local EOS schemes such as the MECS, cataract and glaucoma pathways so your days wont be boring. We also have a strong culture of developing our own professionals so youll also have the opportunity to help supervise our Pre-Reg OOs, DOs & CLOs if you wish.
