Were equipped with 2 test rooms, cutting-edge technology, up-to-date ophthalmic equipment and a team 16 members strong including optical assistants trained in pre- and post-screening, so everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best. We use state of the art optical equipment, including full automated systems and fundus photography. We are passionate about individual clinical progression therefore offer ILM Management courses and Joint Venture Pathway if you can see yourself becoming a Specsavers director one day!

Alnwick, Northumberland is famous for its castle where the first two Harry Potter movies and Downton Abbey were filmed. Alnwick is similar to Downton Abbey with the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland still living in the Castle! It is 4 miles in from the Northumberland Coastal route where you can visit amazing places from Bamburgh, Seahouses, Warworth, Craster and many more. To the west is the amazing Northumberland National Park, where you can climb the Cheviot hills or visit waterfalls. The location makes this town the perfect base to easily travel to some of the larger surrounding cities. Newcastle is just a 40-minute drive away so if the best night out ever is for you then youre in the perfect place! It is even easier on the train being only 20 minutes! Edinburgh is also just a 1.5 hour drive away so youre all set to get out and enjoy this amazing place to live.

Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isnt afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, were looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.
