Optical Assistant Position

A very exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Optical Assistant to join a high end independent chain in one of their practices in Bury. Established over 70 years ago, this client has unrivalled reputation across the northwest. The company offers a wide selection of high end products and services and with an open ear policy they’re looking for someone with the drive and ambition to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will work within a busy independent in an all around role. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service.

Requirements for the Optical Assistant

You will need a minimum of 2 years experience as an Optical Assistant and it’s essential you can lead from the front.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £18,000 – £22,000. You will have 30 days holiday. You will work 9:00 – 5:30 with an hour’s lunch and half day Saturday until 2pm and SUNDAYS OFF!
