Optical Digital UI Designer - UK/Ireland

Digital UI Designer in United Kingdom/Ireland. Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Digital UI Designer for a leading producer of Optical Practice Management Software. The location of the successful candidate can be either UK or Ireland; the role can be fully remote, with frequent travel to the Brentford office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious digital designer with passion for website design and eCommerce customer experience, who is ready for the next step in their career. The successful candidate will join the design team and work with a supportive cross-functional team of product owners, developers and project managers to deliver eCommerce and web solutions to customers worldwide.

Digital UI Designer - Role

• Work closely with Senior UX designer to deliver an exceptional digital experience to clients
• Create market-leading, mobile-first digital designs
• Communicate design ideas using wireframes and prototypes
• Develop standard UI components and style guides
• Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes across digital platforms based on wireframes
• Demonstrate and receive feedback on design iterations
• Follow design standards, usability and accessibility best practices
• Conduct industry research and stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies

Digital UI Designer - Requirements

• 2-3 years of UX/UI design experience
• Working knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design
• Strong typography, layout and visual design skills
• Proven UX/UI Design ability and wireframing experience
• Great design portfolio showcasing your talent on web and mobile
• Experience in eCommerce website design
