Superb new fully independent Dispensing Optician vacancy now available with highly respected and well established fully independent practice near Derby.

Employed ideally full time Dispensing Optician job working across two established practices both within close proximity to Derby

Practice works with state or art facilities including OCT and Optomap, extended test times and dispense times to enable exceptional levels of patient care

Opportunity open to all levels of experience but must be qualified DO or at very final stages of securing the DO qualification

Real prospect to work with friendly family owned and managed optics business with great prospects for long term development up to partner level for ambitious candidates

Key Duties

• 4/5 days per required with no Sundays
• Some early evening work is requested but not essential
• Some Saturdays are required but the number of Saturdays worked each month is negotiable (minimum requirement is alternate Saturdays)
• Working hours are generally 9am-530pm with 30 min lunch mid week and Saturdays early 4pm finish
• Role will be principally clinically/commercially focussed serving mixed 70% NHS client base but options to undertake additional senior responsibilities if of interest such as frame buying and junior colleague supervision etc
• Fully independent practice so opportunity to work with all major lens providers and top brands such as Ted Baker and Bvlgari to name but a few
