What's the Opportunity?

Across the 3 branches there is an Optomap, 2 OCT’s, a topographer, a colorimeter and each practice has an I Care tonometer and Thomson Test charts; plus, support staff to make each clinic run smoothly and efficiently.

History and symptoms are taken on booking, all pre-screening is done and optoms are given longer than average test times, to enable them to provide great customer care. The practices are well-staffed with DO’s and OA’s plus other support staff covering contact lens plans and admin.

There is a great variety of work which includes: extended eye examinations, MECS/CUES, contact lens work, myopia management (including Orthokeratology), referral refinement and coloured overlay/colorimetry assessments.

All 3 branches use the Optix Practice Management system of paperless records, which is easy to pick up and allows for great continuity and security. The test rooms are a good size and airconditioned to provide a nice environment.

The optometrist partners have the drive to make work interesting and rewarding. There is also the opportunity to progress to become an Independent Prescriber and potential partnership in the medium term for the right candidate.
