Field Sales Trainer

As a Field Sales Trainer you be responsible for supporting a network of customers with product training as well as attending tradeshows across the UK and Ireland promoting a portfolio of products.

Job responsibilities:

o Developing and delivering product sales training within optical and sport customers
o Regularly planning and attending field events (including some weekends), allowing customers to test products
o Effective territory coverage – you will ensure frequency of store training visits and a consistent level of service for all customers in accordance with
company guidelines
o Ensuring effective brand, product, and visual merchandising execution within accounts
o Delivering training presentations to in-store staff and attending customer training events
o With the support of Trade Marketing you will coordinate, attend and manage selected trade shows across the UK
o Work closely with Field Sales Team to ensure we are maximizing all sales opportunities within accounts
o Monitoring of competitor activity, with regular market updates
o Work closely with HQ to develop and improve relevant training modules

Skills & experience required:
” Experience working as a dispensing optician or senior role in a optical practice
” Experience developing and implementing an effective customer contact strategy
” Strong understanding of the UK and Ireland optical market
” Keen interest or active in sports such as cycling, snow sports, water sports or running
” Highly organized and adaptable, able to take initiative and think creatively to achieve what’s needed.
” Able to work as part of a team to create internal and external business relationships
” Confident public speaker / presenter

Preferred qualifications:
” Qualified dispensing optician is highly desirable
” Relevant training qualification or experience
” Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

On offer is a salary of up to £28,000 + Car/ £6,000 Car allowance + Laptop, Phone and all travel costs covered.
This is a Mon-Fri role with the very odd saturday working over the year for events.
