Specsavers Home Visits in North Wales are looking for a forward-thinking Optometrist covering Clwyd and Anglesey.  An incredible opportunity awaits: the salary, the location, the lifestyle and an excellent opportunity to branch into the new and exciting world of domiciliary – the only thing missing is you.  With an outstanding package on offer including a basic salary of up to £70,000, relocation support and company car/car allowance joining Specsavers Home Visits in North Wales as our next Domiciliary Optometrist truly is a fabulous opportunity.

What’s on Offer?

  • An annual salary of up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Relocation support or welcome bonus of up to £10,000 (terms apply)
  • Company car or car allowance of £350 per month with all business fuel paid
  • Holiday allowance of 25 days per year, plus bank holidays
  • Private health and dental cover
  • Professional fees paid
  • Access to the latest in portable optical equipment

With a focus on flexibility, we are open to full-time and part-time applicants and in most areas will consider any working pattern to suit you.  So, whether you need condensed hours or early finishes, we’re open to making it work.  Did we also mention we don’t work weekends!

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture.  As part of our team, you’ll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence.  You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community.  Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.

A picture is worth a thousand words and whilst this is just a taste of the opportunity, the best way to see for yourself is with a shadow day.  These are opportunities for you to meet with a fellow professional and observe their working day, speaking to them about the benefits (and challenges) a career in domiciliary can bring.

To find out more and to book your very own shadow day contact Alex Plows on 07983 919836 or alex.plows@specsavers.com
