Optometrist Position

I am working with an award-winning independent chain that is looking for an Optometrist who can offer outstanding customer service and make every patient feel special. In this role, you will have time to spend with your patients to complete a thorough test 30min test. You are not monitored by KPI’s but by your customer’s reaction to your service, happy customers – happy owners!

Responsibilities of the Optometrist.

This role requires you to work as the sole clinician at present with the view to double clinics on a couple of days once the lockdown is over. This company is looking for an Optometrist with strong commercial and clinical acumen. You will be responsible for providing eye tests, contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team.

Requirements of the Optometrist.

To apply for this position, you need to be a fully qualified, GOC registered optometrist. You will be passionate about optics and focus on the care that you deliver. You will want to further develop your skills and grow as a practitioner, as the store grows. You will have outstanding communication skills and a strong personal work ethic.
