Optometrist Position

This company is very well established and the practices are situated in strong footfall locations. This company offers comprehensive sight tests for 25-30 minutes. This role would suit a newly qualified Optometrist who is happy to be a resident and looking to gain exposure to a wide variety of patient bases.
They would also consider an experienced Optometrist with the skills and experience to deal with complex and interesting cases.
My client is looking for someone who will enjoy being part of a close-knit team/community and where building your own customer base will be essential. Repeat business will be pivotal for you to succeed in this location, so the client will ensure you have all the tools required to assist the customer in every step of their journey.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

In this role, you will provide excellence in clinical care to your patients and work as part of a small team in single clinic part-time testing practices. You will be responsible for providing eye tests, contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records, and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge to conduct thorough sight tests offering your expert opinion and making recommendations.
You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the teams.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified Optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will be hardworking and clinically minded who is passionate about customer service and patient care. You will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge, and expertise in your specialist field.
*You must be able to work Saturdays.
**Working hours are 9-6 Mon-Fri and 9-5 on Sat.

*All practices have Computerised records, Soloman charts, Trial frames, Slit lamp, Karotonometer, Visual fields, Contact tonometer

Compensation for the Optometrist

In return for the strong salary basic of up to £65,000 DOE. The client is looking for someone ready to put their patients first and to become an integral part of the group and maintain high standards.
