Due to business growth within our domiciliary services, the clinical teams are growing, and we are looking for fresh talent to join our Partners across the UK. Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant
Location: UK wide
Salary: Competitive basic dependent on experience
Working hours: Full Time or Part Time available (up to 40 hours) Monday to Friday Benefits: Car allowance or car allowance* (*this can vary between partners) Bonus based on performance It takes someone special to be able to do what our Optical Assistants do. They visit patients in their own homes and assist an Optician to carry out sight tests for those that are unable to go to the high street. This can be because of mobility issues, mental health issues or disabilities. We are sometimes the only person that patient has seen all week, so we want to make sure we take the time to have a little chat with them, this can make all the difference to that patients’ day. Customer care is high on our agenda, so you must love dealing with the more vulnerable customers. In short, you’ll make sure every customer gets a great experience. The Domiciliary Partners are highly experienced business owners who are approachable and are keen to ensure staff are looked after well. In return, our commitments to you are:

- We will invest the time to train you in pre-testing patients and dispensing duties
- We will commit to train you in how to run domiciliary clinics efficiently
- You will receive training to enable you to be able to do minor adjustments and repairs on patients’ glasses
- You will receive ongoing support on using the systems we use to record information and to place orders
