We are delighted to announce an Optometrist vacancy at our friendly and vibrant Leith store within Edinburgh. The store is based in a popular location and only one mile from Princess Street; it is also sited on the beautiful coast of Firth of Forth. The area is undergoing redevelopment and is now filled with an array of shops, bars, highly acclaimed restaurants and cafes; it has become a very popular destination for locals and tourists. 


The store relocated a year ago, and so the store is very modern and equipped with all the latest technology such as OCT.  The focus at this store, is about pulling together and working as a team to ensure that our valued patients have an excellent experience. Become our new Optometrist at Specsavers in Leith – a highly successful store with a great reputation for staff progression and the very highest standards of customer care.

As our qualified optometrist at Specsavers Leith, you will make sure the customers get an expert eye examination, complete with clear information, sound advice, and a friendly, professional approach. You will work to the highest clinical standards, be compliant with NHS guidelines (and the stores own procedures) and help maintain a loyal customer base.  As an experienced professional, you will be an expert at putting people at ease by talking customers through the eye examination process and explain their options in a clear, easy to understand way. What’s more, it is important that you are organised and passionate about what you do – which means you keep accurate records and always have up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in your field.  In return you will be offered an established training programme with ongoing practical experience and opportunities for continuous professional development.
