What an opportunity this is to work with a clinically driven and modern optician in the North London area. This role is for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician who is looking to work in a small close-knit team.

Qualified Dispensing Optician Position

This very well-appointed, open, and airy modern practice, situated in an excellent location with a strong client base and high-tech equipment with parking is available locally.
*They are local to the tube station, East Finchley, with a short 4-minute walk away. It is on the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line, in Zone 3. Buses: 263, 143, 603 all stop a short distance away.
Parking: there is pay parking close, or you may find free parking spaces on the side streets.
They have a large range of frames with some of the most recognisable names as well as some not-so.
This practice is an independent practice and one of the most trusted optometrists at the helm.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

You will be dispensing spectacles to all levels, helping with frames selection as well as completing contact lens teaches. On top of the sales and shop floor duties, you will be required to help with reception and admin duties, as this is a small team where everyone plays an integral part in the overall success of the business.
As a member of the senior team, you will be on hand to guide and advise the junior dispensing team members.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

To apply for the position you need to have at least 12 months of optical experience and you will be able to dispense spectacles to all levels. You will be a strong communicator who is able to make sales and ensure return business.

On offer to the right person, is a competitive salary of up to £27,500, plus bonus discussed at interview, and a long-term opportunity within a well-run and friendly orientated practice?
Friendly working hours with an early finish on Saturdays and a 35-hour working week.
*This role offers working alternate Saturdays and no Sundays.
