A great opportunity has become available for a full time Optical Assistant in a busy practice.
This role will be working with an enthusiastic, friendly and up-beat team and are looking for another member with energy and charisma to welcome into the practice.
Must be proficient in all aspects of dispensing and commercially aware with good customer service skills.

My client is a very well respected company with an excellent reputation and this practice is the opticians of choice in the local area.
This practice is situated on a busy high street and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place; who all work with each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.

You will be working in a busy store in the Buckinghamshire area in a busy town although busy you can expect a relaxed and easy going feel on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

As an Optical Assistant within this practice you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team.
Ideally 12 months minimum experience within an opticians and dispensing is required for this role.
An up-beat and friendly personality is a must to fit in with the team and environment.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

For your efforts a competitive salary package up to £19,000 dependent on your experience is on offer, along with a strong bonus scheme and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
