A new opportunity has just become available for an experienced focused Optical Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis in a new practice in Doncaster of an existing well-established franchise of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands.

You will be working in a busy store surrounded by a very supportive and experienced team who are willing to help and aid you in the right direction, as they are big on team building and work to provide an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

As an Optical Assistant within this practice, you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general troubleshooting. As a member of the store’s team, you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £18,500 + the opportunity to further your career. You will have 28 days holiday.
