Optical Assistant Position
A progressive opportunity has just become available for a quality driven Optical Assistant for a 5 day permanent role in the Crewe area.
I am recruiting currently for a franchisee of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands who have an opening due to them strengthening their dispensing team.
This practice is situated in a busy shopping area and has good footfall with a loyal customer base with a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a very professionally driven team who strive to deliver the highest standards and pride themselves on their reputation for excellence in customer care.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
At least 1 years’ experience in a busy practice is beneficial but not essential and the ability to dispense to all levels with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant
My client is offering a competitive salary of up to £19,500 basic and a strong bonus scheme and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training as well as joining a professional team in a busy but friendly environment.
