Zest Optical are working with a well established lens manufacturer , who due to continued success are looking for an experienced optical Account Manager to look after a targeted number of customer accounts in the North. This position offers a unique challenge to a high calibre individual who is already successful within their current role, and is looking for a new challenge and the chance to build a long-term career with a market leader.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the position involves promoting and selling a range of optical lens products to opticians in the region, so this will be a mix of exploring and developing new business opportunities whilst servicing existing accounts. Product training will be a key part of the role.

Candidates must be comfortable selling in a clinical environment and ideally have come from a strong optical background. They naturally favour those who are hungry for success, determined, tenacious and are ultimately focused on bringing business on board. Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to communicate with authority to senior consultants will be a fundamental to success in this role. A good level of technical understanding of both optics and associated topics is desirable, but not essential.
