Optical Assistant Position

This very well-appointed practice is situated in a picturesque and very affluent Surrey town. They have a large and loyal customer base and are considered the go-to opticians in the area. This practice is a franchise practice of one of the most trusted optical brands in the UK.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will be dispensing spectacles helping with frames selection as well as completing pre-screening tests and contact lens teaches. On top of the sales and shop floor duties, you will be required to help with reception and admin duties.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

To apply for this position you need to have at least 6 months of optical experience and you will be able to dispense spectacles to all levels. You will be a strong communicator who is able to make sales and ensure return business.

On offer to the right person is a competitive salary of £17,000 – £18,000 and a long-term opportunity within a relaxed well-run practice.
