Practice Manager

Would you like to progress your career into a Practice Manager position for a small high end and well established independent practice?

*WE WILL CONSIDER EXPERIENCED OPTICAL ASSISTANTS LOOKING TO PROGRESS THEIR CAREER INTO MANAGEMENT BUT YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITHIN OPTICS AND BE ABLE TO DISPENSE TO ALL LEVELS.

You will be working as part of a very small team and you will be expected to manage the day to day running of the store, working towards targets and offering any support to fellow colleagues while also still being heavily involved with the dispensing and day to day running of the practice.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

You will work within a busy practice in an all around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames and NHS eye care. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.
You will be working in a team of 3-4 and be able to support and motivate the team working towards targets and KPI’s.

Requirements for the Optical Practice Manager

You will need a minimum of 1 years experience as an Optical Assistant and it’s essential you can dispense spectacles to all levels. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Ideally some level of management experience either as team leader/ supervisor or higher.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £25,000 pro rata (dependent on experience). You will have 28 days holiday. NO Sundays
Working hours are a total of 42 hours (9-6 weekdays with a shorter day on Saturday 9-1pm)
