We are looking for an exceptional optometrist to join our team as Training and Development Manager for the company. In this role you will lead the development of our existing staff, oversee the training of new staff members and develop and shape our training programme and continuing professional development programme.
About you
You will be a GOC registered optometrist with a strong background in Medical Retina having either a minimum of two years experience working in a hospital medical retina department or having completed the College Professional Higher certificate in Medical Retina, or be a registered slit lamp examiner in a diabetic eye screening programme. You will have a proven track record of involvement in training and mentoring of colleagues and an interest in research and clinical audit.
