Qualified Dispensing Position

This is a permanent full-time position working within one of the most trusted optical brands in the UK. This practice is well established with a long-standing and loyal customer base. The store is modern and well equipped and is located on a busy high street in Essex.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

Your role will be to work as one of the lead dispensers within the practice. You will handle the majority of children’s and complex dispensing and you will use your expertise and clinical experience to troubleshoot and deal with any issues as they arise. As a senior member of the team, you will help junior members of the team and help them to stay up to date with the latest optical developments

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

To apply for this position you be a fully qualified, GOC registered Dispensing Optician with experience of a similar environment an advantage. You will be up to date with all CET requirements. The right person for this position will be hardworking and professional with an interest in optical fashion. You will be passionate, friendly, and always willing to help. You will be friendly and approachable with a good attitude and personal work ethic.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

They are offering a competitive salary basic of £25,000, DOE, along with a strong bonus scheme (OTE of £27,000+ achievable in normal circumstances) and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and potential progression for the right candidate and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
