This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role can be home based within the UK or based out of one of our support offices in Southampton or Nottingham. 

 

Main Purpose of the Team

The Design Studio creates, innovative, effective, learner-centric solutions for our retail teams. We work closely with L&D Business partners and stakeholders on projects to develop interventions that improve capability and performance.

 

Main Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for the research and design of highly quality training interventions across our retail business.

 

This includes designing, and storyboarding, where appropriate, all learning resources. Your role will focus on the development of colleague expertise through blended learning solutions. Embracing future focused thinking, you will understand the business context, culture and have a good grounding across adult learning theory. 

 

A creative eye is essential to apply design skills to a range of training interventions. You should have knowledge of how content interacts with a Learning Management System and an understanding of LMS reporting standards such as SCORM 1.2, 2004. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong background in L&D, specifically learner-centric instructional and digital design 
  • Competent on eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, and Adobe suite 
  • Proven collaboration with stakeholders and business partners to explore relevant information and provide feedback to inform the training requirements.
  • Connect training needs to individual and team capability gaps, in-line with organisational performance outcomes.
