An outstanding position has arisen within our Saltcoats Specsavers store for a driven experienced Optometrist looking to progress their career personally and clinically within patient focused family environment.   Ideally you'll be able to provide supervision when required and in return offer a flexible working schedule. 

The store has been open for fourteen years and is well established with a loyal community patient base. The practice prides itself on providing excellent clinical care to the local community. Ayrshire as a county is at the forefront in terms of facilitating links between Primary and Secondary Care. The Store is currently involved in Eyecare Ayrshire and Post Cataract reviews and there is potential to become involved with other schemes and pilots in the future.

Since June, the store is now under new ownership, a husband and wife team with circa 30 years Optometry experience between them; looking to take the business to another level, this is a great time to join the store on its new jouney. 

Saltcoats itself is situated in North Ayrshire around 30 miles, you can reach Glasgow in just over 30 minutes by train. There are fantastic views over the Clyde estuary, Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig from the long sandy beaches.
