Here at Rutherglen Specsavers, we are looking for an Optometrist who can bring something new and exciting to our team. At our store, we’re all about pulling together and working as a unit to ensure that each of our valued patients have an excellent experience – and we’re looking for a highly-skilled Optometrist who shares our ethos. This is a part time role and our Director Peter is happy to make the days and hours work around you.

For those of you who are clinically focussed, you will be pleased to know that Specsavers Rutherglen was one of the original three pathfinding practices that started the Glasgow Integrated Eyecare Project in 2002. This eventually led to the introduction of the new Scottish GOS contract in 2006.

We’re equipped with 5 test rooms and a recent expansion onto a second floor, along with cutting-edge technology, up-to-date ophthalmic equipment and a strong team, including optical assistants trained in pre and post-screening, so everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best.

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, the right person for this position will be confident with a strong worth ethic and a willingness to succeed.
