Qualified Dispensing Optician Position

They have a number of practices across the West Midlands all in good locations with all maintaining strong client bases with a mix of private and NHS. They have very friendly, family feel with welcoming teams in place, who work together to deliver the highest levels of care possible and they have a very good local reputation for excellence in customer care.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The role will entail some responsibility, (approximately 20% of your day), with the majority being dispensing. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice including mentoring the junior team to high levels of working practices.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

You will be passionate about customer service and have a keen interest in fashion and eyewear.
The ability to dispense to a high specification is essential along with a friendly and personable demeanour.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
My client is looking for applicants with at least 2 year of experience ideally within a similar environment with customer care a major part of why they have been recognised as the place to go for eye care.
Full GOC registration and CET requirements up to date are essential.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
