Technology Finance Analyst – 12 Month FTC

Role Overview:
As a member of the Global Technology Finance and Portfolio team; the Technology Finance Analyst has responsibility for the coordination of month end activities for the wider team, the production and development of the reporting packs provided to technology management and will assist the business partners for Delivery and Digital in the review of business cases and ad hoc requirements as they arise.
The Technology Finance Analyst also has the responsibility of engaging with managers across the Technology function to ensure the adherence to financial governance processes regarding financial commitments. This includes the shared management of the Purchase Order process, and the review and approval of invoices for Technology spend prior to processing by Group Accounts payable in Nottingham.
This will include:
- Finance Business Partnership for the UK/ROI Audiology (Hearcare) and Newmedica cost centre owners including budget consolidation and challenge.
- Shared accountability for the processing of recharges to stores partners and PO process implementation
- Ownership and understanding of project recharges into KeyedIn (Project Management system) and reconciliation to the general ledger.
- Production and development of month end and budget/forecast reports for Global Technology. Highlighting cost drivers and material risks and issues to budget performance.
- Assist Finance Business Partners for Delivery and Digital Transformation with Project appraisal, reporting, and ad hoc requirements.
- Ongoing process review and improvement of team workflows.
To be successful, you will require:
- Ideally AAT qualified or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of a Purchase to Pay process
- Previous experience within management accounting
- Proficient in Excel modelling and data management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Business Partnering and Stakeholder management skills
- Extensive knowledge of Accounts payable / Purchase order processes
