A family run group of independent Opticians based in St. Andrews, Scotland are looking for a full or part time Optometrist to cover a 9 months maternity contract.
Optometrist - Role
- Small group of 3 practices
- Well established family run business
- Optom owners
- Focus on patient care
- Mostly double testing
- Testing times are 40 minutes
- No targets
- Advanced equipment including an OCT
- Trial Frames
- No walk ins - 1-2 emergency appointments saved throughout the day
- Full or part time - 9am to 5.30pm (4pm on a Sat)
- Flexibility on Sats
- Salaries ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
- Covering maternity starting from September onwards - Potential to stay on 1-2 days a week afterwards
Optometrist - Requirements
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- Will put the patient first
- Wants to be a part of a friendly, close knit team
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate about Optometry
- Patient focused
