Role: Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser

Location: GPO Arcade, Dawson Street, Crumlin and Santry 

Hours: Full time to include some Saturdays 

Contract: Maternity cover 

Experience level: For this role you will need to be a qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser and able to ISHAA register

We’re looking for a qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team in Dublin Hearcare on a maternity leave contract.

About you

You’ll need to a qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser and able to register with ISHAA if you’re not registered already. We’re happy to consider newly qualified Audiologists provided that you’re able to start within the next two months. As the role is based in Dublin a driving licence is not essential.

Dublin Hearcare

At Dublin Hearcare you’ll be based in a fast-paced clinical environment with appointments booked weeks in advance. You’ll be joining two other Audiologists/HADs, a qualified HCA, a Trainee HCA and our Hearcare Director Kelly, who is also a qualified Audiologist. Kelly has said that the team gel really well and also engage and work very well with the optical teams to ensure that the clinics run smoothly. 

The role is based between the Specsavers stores in GPO Arcade, Dawson Street, Crumlin and Santry. Each day you’ll head straight to one location and run the clinic in that store. At GPO, Crumlin and Dawson Street we have dedicated hearcare test rooms and at Santry we have a dual test room. All of the rooms feature booths. 

We also offer wax removal so if you’re already microsuction/wax removal qualified this would be an advantage, however we are happy to put you on the course.

The Director:

Kelly is our Director of Dublin Hearcare. Kelly started out in optics with Specsavers 13 years ago. After a couple of years, she moved over to the hearcare side of the business and has gone from strength to strength.  Her journey has included the HCA course, qualifying as a HAD, Clinical Lead and Senior Audiologist roles and becoming a Hearcare Director 1 year ago. She is a fantastic leader and is very proud of her team.
