Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant

Area:  Hampshire / Winchester and Isle of Wight on occasion

Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday 9am to 5.30pm.  ( Flexible and will consider 4 days a week if you want to work 2 week days and the weekend)

Salary & Benefits: £20,000 per annum and company car or car allowance and bonus (Potential up to £200 per month)

Experience level: Optical experience required


We are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Optical Assistant ideally in the Southapmton area to cover clinics in Hampshire, up to Wincester and occasional overnights on the Isle of Wight to join our expanding domiciliary team with Specsavers Home Visits. 


As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high, quality professional services to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.  You must have high standards of dispensing and customer care, in short, you will make sure every customer gets has a great experience with us.

Other Requirements


A full UK driving licence is required and additionally this is role is deemed to be regulated activity under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  An enhanced DBS and barring list check will be required prior to commencement of the role and repeated every 3 years.
