Optical Assistant Position
My client is a highly successful practice that is a part of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands. Due to the continued growth of the business, this practice is now looking to add an experienced person to their team on a full-time permanent basis to handle the increase in volume.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
This role would suit an experienced individual with a strong skillset including full dispensing knowledge, the ability to pre-screen patients, and conduct contact lens teaches.
The ideal person for this role will also be very comfortable managing a reception area and will be happy with all associated admin duties. As this is a busy dynamic store strong sales skills would be needed.
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
To apply for the position you will need to have at least 12 months of optical experience ideally within a busy practice. You will have excellent communication skills as well as being well organised with a keen eye for detail. You will be looking for a long-term opportunity with career prospects in the future.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant
On offer for your efforts is a good salary of £18,000 – £22,000 + Bonuses and continued personal development.
This would be a long-term opportunity with some future progression opportunities. On offer is a very competitive salary + a strong bonus package
